This Notice is an assurance to you that Wahl is concerned about how your Personal Information is collected, processed, stored, transferred, and destroyed. Wahl secures your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Please note that this Notice applies to Wahl Pty Limited.
What is Personal Information?
Personal Information is any information that personally identifies you, this information may include but is not limited to your name, race, gender, pregnancy, marital status, mailing address, phone number, email address, education, employment history, and their financial history (such as their credit history).
What is Special Personal Information?
Special Personal Information is any information relating to your religious or philosophical beliefs, race or ethnic origin, trade union membership, political opinions, health, sexual life, biometric information or criminal behaviour.
How does Wahl Protect Your Personal/Special Personal Information?
Wahl assures you that it has put stringent IT security measures and access controls in place to protect your Personal Information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Wahl further assures you that it will not use or share your Personal/Special Personal Information with any service providers, or third parties outside of the limitation to which you have consented.
Wahl collects personally identifiable information, such as your ID number, e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number through its cash and customer application forms. There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by Wahl. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used by Wahl for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Wahl website.
Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose Personal information or personally sensitive data through Wahl public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others. Please note: Wahl does not read any of your private online communications. Wahl is not responsible for the Privacy Notices or other content on Web sites outside of Wahl Holdings Group Web site.
Use of Your Personal Information
Wahl does not sell, rent or lease its client lists to third parties. Wahl may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information (e-mail, name, address, telephone number) is not transferred to the third party. In addition, Wahl may share data with trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail. Wahl keeps track of the websites and pages our customers visit within Wahl, to improve the quality of our services. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within Wahl to customers whose behaviour indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.
